Dear friends,

Fifteen years have passed and a lot, a lot, has happened in the world of the Internet.

It is true that nothing that has been added to this type of knowledge would have affected what there is to say about Beethoven, but having managed to bring a minimum of his most celebrated musical composition - the 9th Symphony - to me was a great achievement allowed by the advancement of the virtual world.

Anyway - at least for me - to improve a little bit the quality of this or any other piece of my work, it means a great achievement to share with you.

On the Banks of the Danube

Dear friends,

As in other times that I also have expressed myself to you, the inspiration for this work came from the real passion I have for an orchestra conductor - Seiji Ozawa.

There is a DVD of him with the Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra playing Gershwin which is - at least for me - to vibrate, to scream, to cry with emotion and literally fall to my knees in devotion. If you want to know at least one of its recording tracks, I leave here as a present to you the Rhapsody in Blue with the Berliner more the jazz trio of Mark Roberts. If you do not cry spontaneously at the time when, after Ozawa's "drooling" over the interpretation of the soloist, he calls the orchestra by whistling with two fingers in his mouth, you are heartless... lol.

Well, this time I will not bring Gershwin but another great interpretation of the orchestra under the always magnificent conducting of Seiji Ozawa in Blue Danube, Strauss, of course.

Dear friends,

Always thanking you for the good reception you have been granting to my work, I want to tell you that, this time, even I was amazed by how much material about the capital of Austria it was possible to compile and bring for you to review or, if it’s the case, to know.

At the beginning of the research I understood that for twice I simply "touristed" around in Vienna without realizing how much there was to dazzle me there.

Confessing it was a pleasurable work, but also exhausting, I send to you the final formatting necessarily divided in two volumes.
